Our special project included announcements to BYU-Idaho students promoting sport groups, events, and intramural leagues.

Project Journey

During the Winter 2026 semester at BYU-Idaho, I enrolled in Integrated Digital Marketing 1 taught by Luke Alley. The main curriculum of this course included managing paid ads for a client. The client for me and my classmates was BYU-Idaho Sports.

During a meeting, we discussed with our client past semester successes and failures, this semester’s main events, and the strategy for paid ads. We then met with our client every week to ensure everyone was on the same page. During these meetings, we would go over past week’s performances, upcoming plans, and any changes that may be needed.

Prior to this semester, I never touched paid media. I learned how to set up campaigns on Meta and Google Ads Center, understand campaign performance metrics, and creating content optimized for each platform.
