Over eight weeks, I achieved:

  • 400k+ views on social media
  • 125.8% follower growth on Instagram
  • Nearly doubling their average sales on their busiest day

How did I manage to do that for a local business in Rexburg, Idaho?

About Fire & Fizz

Fire & Fizz is a pottery painting studio and soda bar in Rexburg, Idaho. They offer over 200 options of pre-made ceramics to paint with a wide range of underglazes or pottery glazes. With an infinite amount of ideas on painting pottery, they have over 80,000 soda combinations available at the soda bar.

Project Background + Results

When Fire & Fizz was in the renovation and grand opening stage, they were actively posting on social media to build awareness. They quickly grew in popularity, so naturally business operations, finance, and organization became a focus over posting on social media.

During my time at Brigham Young University – Idaho, I learned the importance of digital marketing from my communication and marketing courses. I reached out to the owners of Fire & Fizz offering them social media management, marketing, and content creation at no cost to them (other than countless sodas from their soda bar).

Throughout the project, I followed a schedule of:

  • Posting five times a week on Instagram, Facebook, Threads, and TikTok
  • Three story sets a week on Instagram and Facebook
  • Weekly Monday meetings with Fire & Fizz and my mentor Jason Reeder.

As a result from my social media management, I was able to receive over 400k views on all platforms combined, grow their Instagram follower count by 125.8%, and nearly double their sales on an average Saturday.
