Luxor Nails and Spa
Project Background
My first ever client, and one I continually work with, is Luxor Nails & Spa in Denison, Texas. The nail salon has been open since 2015 and I started off as a receptionist here once I turned 16. I showed interest in media creation and marketing, so the owner asked me to help with social media, menu creation, and the digital needs of the salon.
Goals For the Project
My main goal working with Luxor Nails & Spa is to help the business scale online, increase sales and salon traffic, and to establish a workflow that works best for the salon and me.
Project Journey + Outcomes
At first the content I created was rough. I had just moved to Rexburg, Idaho, for college and was asked to make posts and menus from a distance. This required my client to take photos, ask if it works, and then retake the photos. Eventually I trained my client to be able to take photos to post on the salon’s social media.
